Hello again John, and thanks for the additional comments.Yes, indeed, I would like to have the descent from King John, via his illegitimate daughter Joan, who married Llewelyn, and through the Mortimer, Verdun, and Furnival families to Eleanor Fitzhugh, who married Sir Thomas de Tunstall.
I would also like to have the descent from Dermot MacMurrough, King of Leinster.
Every time I find an alternative ancestry, I like to record it and put it in my files.I would also appreciate your citing sources as best you can.
Thanks a lot for your help.I'm sure you will agree by now, having obviously worked on this for a very long time - and very dilligently, that all us genealogists have to be slightly nuts to ever embark on this hobby! We should all learn very early that every time we solve one problem, we have two new problems! Not a very promising endeavor!
