Coeburn, VA ~ Herby Earl Tunnell, 80, passed away Monday,
September 17, 2012, at Mountain View Medical Center in
Norton, Va.

He was the son of the late Harrison and Nannie Tunnell;
also preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Beatrice
Hopkins and Thelma Lynette Gibson; and two brothers,
Allard Edwards and Hubert Tunnell.

Survivors include Kathleen Tunnell; daughter, Lynett
Mullins and husband Steve, Pound, VA; two sons, Anthony
Tunnell and wife Dodie, Coeburn, VA, and Marty Tunnell,
Wise, VA; two sisters, Pauline Gibson, Elkton, MD, and
Yolonda Reed, Weens, VA; brothers-in-law, Warren Hopkins,
Wise, VA, and Bill Gibson, Coeburn, VA; grandchildren,
Brittany Tunnell, Kaitlin Tunnell, Jarrod Tunnell, Amber
Prior, Bethany Sturgill, Karrie Potter, Abigail Crawford,
Chandler Dickenson, and Carrindton Wright; great grand-
children, Addison Jane, Isabella Inez, and Emmerson Lynett;
and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2012,
after 6 p.m., at the Church.

Funeral services for Herby Earl Tunnell will be held on
Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Coeburn First
Baptist Church with Rev. R. J. Rose officiating.

Burial will be Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Temple
Hill Memorial Park.

Arrangements by Estes Funeral Home, Coeburn, VA.
