William Tunnel b. 1751 in Fairfax Co, Virginia was the son of William Tunnel and Ann Howard. His father, William Tunnel was b.1702 in France and d. 1787 in Virginia. He was the son of Guillaume Tunnellier b. 1675 in France, d. 1740 in York, England. Ann Howard was b. 1710 in Yorkshire, England, d. 1814 in Tennessee. Everything I have found indicates them marrying in England.
