I appreciate your reply to my inquiry. I have all of the information you suupplied and I have about everythin Dave Tunnell supplied. However, the question still remains - Who were William Tunnell and Ann Howard and were they really from England or were they from families that were already here? There are many family stories about Lady Ann - especially in the descendents of their son Stephen. If they came over from England before the birth of their children why is there no documented Ship record to that effect. We can account for five children - the four boys and the one female - ancestor to Wilma. Age factor - If Ann was indeed born in 1710 she would have been 37 at the birth of Robert and 46 at the birth of John then about 49 at the birth of the daughter. That's stretching the childbearing age even in this time of invetro-fertilization. I love the family lore - especially that which was related by Nicholas Money Tunnell, son of Stephen and Keziah to his children in the middle 1850's. But without documentation there is no prrof - only family lore. Perhaps we should form some type of "Family" committee to perform an in-depth study in an endeavor to find documentation.
