Concerning Lady Ann Howard, she was b. 1710 in Yorkshire, Eng. and died 18th Feb. 1814 in Robertsville, Anderson Co., Tennessee. She was married to William Tunnell b. abt. 1702 in France, died 28 Dec. 1787 in Loudon Co. Virginia. Their children were-
1.Robert b. 1747 in Fredricksburg,Spotsylvania Co., Virginia and died 1779 in NC. 2. William Tunnell b. Dec. 9th, 1751 in Fredricksburg, Spotsylvania Co., Virginia and died Aug. 16 1814 in Robertsville, Anderson Co. TN. (He married Mary Maysey Dec. 9 1771 in Fairfax Co., Virginia. She was b.1754 in Fairfax Co., Virginia & died April 6 1814 near Robertsville, Tennessee.
3. Stephen Tunnell b. 1753 Fredricksburg, Spotslyvania Co., Virginia and died 1828 in Tompkinsville, Monroe Co., KY. (he married Kezia Money Nov 22 1776 in Georgetown,Maryland, daughter of Nicholas Money and Mary Yeates. She was b. abt 1756 in Georgetown, Maryland, and died 1836 in Morgan Co., IL).
4. John Tunnell b. 1755 in Fredricksburg, Spotsylvania Co., Virginia and died 1790 in Sweet Springs, Virginia (earlier WV).
(note Lady Ann lived over 100 yrs.)
My husband is a descendant of William Tunnell & Mary Maysey
through their 13th child, Sally Tunnell b. July 28, 1799 in Anderson Co., Tennessee. She died July 21, 1874 Greenfield, IL. She married James William Wellington Miller Sept. 20,1820 in Tennessee. Have more on the lineage.
