Hi Charlene !! I am compiling on a different family of Tunnell's then your clan BUT am sure these families were connected back before 1500 and possibly before the countries became France & Germany !! I met a man named Tunell in E.Texas ,many years ago,and he gave me his history. His Tunell man(forgot this info )came to Mn.in@ before 1850.The entire family came with him so All of the
descendents you hae found belong to the first couple who came to America from Germany. The name should have been Tonnelier & when the people fled from France they wouls change it for the country they were in.I do recall that Kaiser was one form in Germany.IN England is was Tunnel(One L),My 2nd ancestor was Guillaume Tonnelier the 1st.(b.@1675-d.@1740)who "became "Guillaume Tunnel(One L)His son Wm.Tunnel the 11nd.came to Va.From England in @1731 and I am compiling on this man for a Tunnell book.-Wilma M.(Cowsar)Brown
