I am the Great-Grand nephew of a Gustava Charlotta Sandberg (aka Charlotte) who married a John L. Tunison. They had two sons, John L. Jr. and Edmund. They met in Wisconsin, I believe, but moved to the Chicago area in the 30's and stayed with my mother's family in Highland Park, Illinois for a time. My father remembers meeting Aunt Charlotte when he was dating my Mother around 1950 or so. He never met John Sr., and the family had little contact with the sons, knowing only that they lived somewhere in Chicago. If this is the John L. you are looking for let me know. Late in life Aunt Charlotte wrote a short bio of her parents; their life in Sweden before coming the the US, farming and homesteading in Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. I can e-mail you a copy.
