Hello,
Searching for any information on George H. Tumlin living in Smith County, Tenn. around 1865 (shortly after civil war). He was in the 1st Tenn. Mounted Infantry (US). He had a daughter Etta who married Robert Lee Beasley. They were married January 8, 1891, Smith County, Tenn. This marriage is ironic because Robert Lee's father was a confederate soldier, but thats what makes us americans. Any information what be appreciated.
