Hi Sarah,

I have a Julia V. Tumlin who was born in 1867 in South Carolina, the dau. of John Franklin Tumlin. They moved to Paulding County, GA about 1872. Julia married Ben McCoy of Bartow Co. I do not have any more info than that.

In my Tumlin binder, the family of John Franklin Tumlin remains unlinked to the primary Tumlin family I am researching. It could be that they changed the spelling of their name to Tumlin from something else when they moved to Georgia. I just don't know.

Please keep in touch because I would like to know more about the John Franklin Tumlin connection.
