George Tumlin was my gg grandfather. He was
born 4/14/1845 & died 10/27/1909. I believe he was married twice. 1st - Narcissus E.
children: Frances M. (Fannie) my g/grandmother, John, William & Etta. Fannie & Etta married brothers - Rufus Porter Beasley and Robert Lee Beasley. George is buried in the cemetary at the Chesnut Mound United Methodist Church - Chesnut Mound, TN
Smith County. The 1850 Smith Co Census lists his mother Ann Tumlin (29); sister,
Margaret A. (8) & George (5). They were listed as living with James G. & Frances Wyatt. After Frances' death, James G. Wyatt & Ann Tumlin married on 12/2/1866 by M.A. Dickins,J.P. I also have info on the Beasleys. Hope this helps!
