Brian---how back can this family be traced in England? So far, all the Tullis descendants I've found in England have traced themselves to Fife, Scotland. Alexander was a commonly used first name for Tullis in Fife. My orginal ancestor in North America was Claudius (Cloud) Tullos who was in Virgina in 1660 (and was born in 1641). It appears that he may have come from Norfolk, England (but inasmuch as there was a Robert Tullis---which is especially Scottish) there in about 1620, I think this family may have migrated from Scotland at an early date). I'd be interested in your information and thoughts.
