Thanks for the posting. The "Judge Tellis" referred to in the obituary of his daughter, Elizabeth Heaton, is David Tulles, born 22 May 1787 in Virginia. He was a Judge, member of the Ohio Legislature, and a Lutheran Minister. His wife was Elizabeth Secrest. David died on 29 Aug 1860 in Batavia, Jefferson Co, Iowa, where he is buried. He and Elizabeth had 12 children. An article about David and his family is forthcoming in the "Tullis Trees" newsletter (http://www.TullisTrees.org).
