Hi Fran,
The State Library of Victoria is at
I don't know about the US site that it is linked to.
I'm sure you will find the following interesting.
Hi Nadine,
I have looked at Augustus Henry Tulk`s line, I do feel that Edward belongs to it but just where is the question. Thomas Tulk's line goes back to James Stuart Tulk and Ann Lovelace.
They married in London. His son John Augustus had children christened in St
Mary Magdalen Richmond,Surry;Friar St Black friars,New Jerusalemite,London
and at St Michael Le Querne, London.
We found in St Anne`s Westminister church register
Edward Tulk b.11.3.1691 c.22.12.1691 son of Edward and Mary
Mary Tulk b.18.1.1689 c.1689 daughter of John and Alice
They could be ancestors of our Edward.
I really would like to see that deed pole re Edward Tulk changing his name to Edward Tulk Hart.It is the first time that idea has come up in our lot. There are quite a lot of
researches in the Tulk descendents in Australia.
I an definitely tell you that Augustus Henry was the son of Charles Augustus Tulk and Susannah Hart.
Charles Augustus was the son of John Augustus Tulk and Betty Carr married in 1781.
Hope I have been of assistance.
