Thanks for the information. Please check the 1930 census for Bryan Co. From the school census for Seminole Co., OK--the last entry that had definitely this Watkins line was in 1927. So you are putting a time line for Jesse and Tulia moving to CA between 1927 and 1930. In 1930 his brothers and their families were definitely in Arizona where one was a farm manager. By the late 1930's, they were still there when a great-uncle and cousins visited with them off and on for years to the 1940's. The relatives did not mention any daughter for Jesse when they visited, so she could have died or married when the families visited in the late 1930's. You might check the death and birth certificates for Arizona on the state website.
