Hello! There may have been several Malinda's in the Tuggle family, as families back then usually named their sons and daughters after aunts and uncles as well as grandparents--can be very confusing.I descended from Henry Tuggle and his wife Margaret______(?) who were born in the 1780's.I do not know all of their children, but they did have a daughter Malinda, and Patsy.A younger daughter, Mahala, was my great-great grandmother. In our family records, it shows her daughter Malinda married Jonathan Loveall. They eventually moved to Lawrence and Martin Co., Indiana. Mahala married (James) Iredell Fields, and they also were in Indiana, the same counties, by 1830. Iredell's brother, Isaiah Fields, married Jonathan's sister, Mary. They also eventually moved to the same place in Indiana.Jonathan and family are listed in the 1830 Lawrence Co., Indiana census--so is his father, Zachariah . Malinda was born in 1804 and Mahala was born in 1808.
