Beth,
Thanks for the tip---I had in my files only four children of "Emma" Tucker (Earl,
'Ethyl', George, and Jesse) from her second marriage. As for the other children you listed, that's news to me!Thank you for the info.Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the four children I already mentioned except thier death dates (I have 'Ethyl' Willaims dying in May 1932).
On a side note, the facts you gave me about George W. "Faught" are close but a little off from what I have. His name was spelled Vaught (he's my great-great-grand-father)---I have a copy of the divorce decree between him and "Emma" Tucker.Evidently, according to the court papers, one of the two abandoned the other---I think it was Emma who left (this is from memory---I just moved and the actual paper is buring in a box in the closet, yet to be unpacked) and Herbert was then raised by his maternal grandparents. He grew up, married and had James Albert Vaught, my father's father. As near was we can tell, Vaught (at least this branch) has been spelled with a "V" since the 1740s, when one son of the original settler family began spelling it with a "F", the rest of the family keeping the "V" (the original spelling being "Vogt", but pronounced in english as "faught", hence the spelling error).
Anyway, if you want, let me know and I'll get you a copy of that divorce decree. Also, I'll pass on anything I find on Ethyl Williams.
