I have the Civil War record of William H. TUCKER b 1828 (not my William Henry Tucker b 1829). William H. TUCKER born 1828 Co. F. 92nd Ohio Infantry from Aug 5, 1862-May 19, 1865, discharged at David's Island, N.Y. Died Apr 20, 1881 at his home, Montgomery St. Marietta, Washington Co. Ohio. He lived in Zanesville, Muskingum, Ohio where he married (1) Mary BIDDISON on 27 Nov 1854 and they were divorced. She md 3 times after the divorce. William md (2) on 29 Nov 1858 Marietta, Ohio by Rev. Pardon Cook, M.E. Church to Mary M. GEREN, b ca 1836. They had nine children, only 6 named, all born Marietta. 3 born before 1867.

William H. Sr. had a brother Abner TUCKER living in 1896.
W.A. Bitteson & D. H. Merrill signed Mary M's pension affidavit in 1894.
In 1891 her "Neighbors Affidavit" was signed by W.L. Rolston age 70 & F.A. Wheeler age 77.
William applied for an invalid pension on 8 March 1872 claiming he was injured Dec 1863 at Lookout Mt. by a log falling on him, & in 1865 in battle near Fayetteville, N.C. by gunshot in leg which was never removed, wounded at battle at Resaca, Ga. by buckshot in right shoulder. Was in Hospital at Nashville, Tenn. He signed the petition but he did not receive a pension.
