Hi Ella & Vickie
The John Tucker you are refering to married to Sarah Richardson hits very close to home.My line was supposed to have decended from John Tucker who married a Richardson.First name is different, but that is a minor point.According to family information, she was previously married to a John Richardson and had a son named John Richardson when she married John Tucker. My Jacob b. 1792 in NC along with family moved to somewhere near Nashville about 1805, stayed there for about one year and moved on to Hopkinsville or Hopkins County, Ky.Jacob and brother George W. were back in Tenn. by 1818 and Jacob married in Williamson County in 1818.George married a few years later to Milly Davis from Georgia. As far as we know, John and His wife Sarah (Amy) did not return to Tenn, tho some family information indicates there were 5 sisters and two brothers involved in the family. Some suspect the other brother may have been named Daniel, but that is all the information I have.
Jacob died in Miss in 1885-86 era while George died in Scotts Hill, Tenn. in 1895.Jacob initially married Nancy Anglin in Williamson Co., then married Darcus Highsmith Davis who had 4-6 kids of her own by previous marriage. Some were living in Marshall Co., Ms by 1860 along with parenets.
Sure would be nice if our John Tuckers were the same!
Terry
