Mary,
I have Andrew Jackson Tucker (white man)in my family, born around 1820 in TN.He came west with his wife Mary Polly Blythe (Indian) to AR.He can be found on the McDonald County Mo census for 1850. My Andrew Jackson supposedly went to Calif. in the 1860s and was never heard from again.
What really caught my eye was the Montague County TX.
Jack/John/AJ had two sons that went to Montague County TX to work on a cattle ranch while they were young men.
John Sterlin Tucker married Mahala Mackey in Montague County.Andrew Elijah Tucker aka Daniel also lived in Montague County with his wife Clarenda Baggett and also his second wife Daty Theo Huff.John S. was born abt 1839 in AR and Daniel abt 1851 Cherokee County KS.
