Linda,
My Tuckers were also in this region. Our James B. Tucker's son, Christopher, was probably the "Chris" Tucker who married in this region of MO.James B. Tucker was born in KY in 1816.And, my ancestral aunt, Mahala (Tucker) Underwood and her family also lived in Dunklin County. They lived near Hornersville (I don't know if this is the correct spelling of the town, but it is close). She is buried near there and her husband, William Riley Underwood is buried in Piggott, Clay County, Arkansas.I suspect that our families are related. Can you tell me more about your Tuckers?Do you know who Oscar Lee Tucker's parents were?
James B. Tucker's wife was Mary Catherine WALKER.His children were by her.He may have been married prior to her to a Nancy HAWS.And, after Mary's death, he married MRS. Sarah J.T. SMITH.
I would love to trade information with you.
Joan
