James Tucker Jr. was a Sioux Indian. He was ina prominent surname among members of the Siouan-Speaking Saponi Tribe. He married Phereby Melton. On 24th Dec. 1811 when Willis Was 22, married Lucy Tucker, daughter of James Tucker Jr. She was born on Mar. 20, 1791 and died in between 1870 and 1880.
Does anyone have any info on James Tucker and the connection in the Sioux Tribe. He is my 4 great grandfather.
Lucy and Willis Ward had a daughter Sallie Ann Ward and I have a picture of her. They lived in Nash Co., N. C.
