I have a letter from Pauline Tucker of Newtown, Mo. dated 30 June 1986. She writes that a researcher she hired told her that her (Paulines) husband's ancestor Andrew Tucker b. 1768 in Maryland, must be related to Israel WATKINS as he and Andrew bought land together in 1795 in Rowan Co. N.C.
Andrew md in 1795 to Luvisa RUMLEY 1771-1843.They are buried in Capp-Tucker cem N. of Markleville, Ind. Also John Tucker b. Md. 1765 d 1855 & wife Sarah. They were md in Highland Co. Ohio, probably bro of Andrew. Andrew prob had a bro Aaron. Andrew was stolen by the Indians when he was 7 yrs. old. Is it possible your Mary was born in Md, and a sister of Andrew? Did Mary leave N. Car. and if so where did she go?
