Looking for parents of Jane Tucker, born 1794, Hanover Co.
Virginia, she Married Reuben Mathews, he seems to be from
North Carolina, in the 1860 census of Hanover I found Jane
living with the Tucker family on a farm, head of household is a
M Tucker, female.
The daughter of Reuben and Jane, Elizabeth Mathews married
Thomas Wingrove, in a letter from Mary Ellen Wingrove Bathon to my
Grandmother Florence Marie Bathon, Mary writes that her
grandmother Jane Tucker was a cousin of President John Tyler.
I would appreciate any information on this family, it is a hard
search, as records were lost during the civil war,
