Yes that sounds right. I believe Nathaniel was the brother of the Joseph JR who was a Revolutionary War veteran. I don't know where they came from before that. It looks like the Tuckers were living in RI from the 1600s (sketchy information, Joseph SR's father was possibly Nathan, also from the Foster/ Scituate RI area).
Joseph Tucker, SR. Are you talking about the Joseph Tucker (Sr.), who married Martha (surname?)? They had Joseph (Jr.), Mary and I think Druzilla. Mary married Jonah Hopkins (Jr). Joseph (Jr) married Druzilla Hokins, sister of Jonah. !st of all, the widow Martha Tucker had married Joseph (Sr). It's a tangled mess. Yes, they lived in Foster or Scituate, Providence Co., RI. Do you know where the Tucker family lived before they went to RI? These Tuckers and Hopkins are my direct lines. Thank you, Iris
