Hi Joan, My brick wall in my wife's Tucker line is Robert Tucker (1777 NC - 1866 AR). Ancestors of William Marvin Tucker (wife's father) http://genforum.genealogy.com/tucker/messages/11256.html My main interest in all of this was the John Tucker family in Precinct 4, Orange, Florida in the 1880 Census. This John Tucker married Sarah Ann Elizabeth Starling on 20 Nov 1845 in Madison Co., FL. John is a descendant of Thomas (Tooker) Tucker (1614 Eng - 1652 VA) which is my wife's Tucker line according to a DNA test her second cousin once removed, Harold "Ray" Tucker (27981) had. My brick wall, Robert Tucker (1777 NC - 1866 AR), had a son named Starling and his line lived in Madison Co., MO and Madison Co., AR. Ray's Tucker lineage is posted at the Tucker Surname Project along with a lot of other participants. Tucker FamilyTreeDNA Project Website http://www.familytreedna.com/public/tucker/default.aspx The Tucker Surname Project at Family Tree DNA uses the Tucker Cousins Discussion Group to discuss their results and traditional genealogical methods. Tucker Cousins Discussion Group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TUCKERS/ You have to join the Tucker Cousins Discussion Group to view and/or post messages there, but I think it is well worth it since it is free and there are over 400 members, many of which are very good researchers. Have any male Tuckers from your Tucker line had a yDNA test? Thank you, Tom Clark (69177 - Clark Surname Project) Researching wife's TTT line (27981 - Tucker Surname Project) Notify Administrator about this message?
