Hi Janis, I found the following excerpt in a message from Terria at the Tucker Cousins Discussion Group: "David Tucker & Sylvania's son, Elijah Tucker, b. 1776, NC, named HIS son: Kinchen/Kintion Tucker. This Kintion (Kinchen) Tucker M. Anna Harris and lived in Rutherford County, TN." Tucker Cousins Discussion Group message # 4409 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TUCKERS/message/4409 You have to join the Tucker Cousins Discussion Group to view and/or post messages there, but I think it is well worth it since it is free and there are over 400 members many of which are very good researchers. In addition to this the Tucker Surname Project uses the Tucker Cousins Discussion Group to discuss their results and traditional genealogical methods. If the info in the excerpt above is correct and the info at the Tucker Surname Project lineage page is correct then I would say that these two Tucker lines definitely have a common male ancestor. Have you researched the line of the Thomas Tucker (1757 NC - 1840 IN) who was born in Halifax Co., NC? Thank you, Tom Notify Administrator about this message?
