Hello. Here's a tough one. I found his name in an English legal document via Google Books, as a great-grand-uncle of a family member I'm researching, and would love to know the tie-in. Person I started off with was Georgiana Rousseau, great-grand-niece to this John M. Tucker, whom reportedly died in 1850, England. GR's mother was Elizabeth. Reportedly her maiden name was Strickland. She is listed as being the niece to John M. Tucker, which means her mother was John's sister. So, I'm trying to find out who the sister was, aka, Elizabeth's mother. Family always said STRICKLAND was her maiden name, but I have no proof that that was Elizabeth's name. She married a Jonas Rousseau, that much I have for certain. Elizabeth was born circa 1816-1817, in Somerset. Therefore, her mother, TUCKER, would likely to have been born pre-1800. Does anyone have a family tree with a John M. Tucker dying in 1850? Guess that that is a good starting place as any. Notify Administrator about this message?
