Joan,
I hesitate to make any definitive statements, but I don't think so.According to written narative by gggdaughter, and his pension application, My Jacob indicated they were married in Williamson Co., Tenn.I do know they were living in Dickson Co., Tn in 1830 and when Nancy's father died, they were executers of his will probated in 1832.Sometime after that and before 1850 they moved on to Decatur Co., Tn and were included on the 1850 census there.
I also realize that he was almost eighty years old when he applied for his pension, (law just changed and provided for War of 1812 pensions), so his accounting could be in error.I know he served with a group from Hopkinsville Ky and that really isn't too far from Williamson Co., Ill either so it is somewhat possible.I surely won't rule it out at the present time.
Terry
