John R. T. Tuck, b. 1860, Butler Co, KY
Posted by: Patricia Lorenz (ID *****5962) Date: July 08, 2006 at 09:48:57
  of 1631

John R. T. Tuck's parents Richard T. Tuck, b. VA, and wife Sarah, b. TN, were in Bond Co, Illinois in 1870 having moved there with their family from Butler Co KY sometime between 1860 and 1870. They were back in KY in 1880, John and wife Mariah Dyer living with his parents; probably md about 1879. I believe they had 3-5 children, the third possibly Herston/Hurston Cleveland Tuck, b. Cape Girardeau Co, MO in 1886. John may have married again about 1899 to a widow named Delphia/Delpha; if this is the same John, they had one son Emery H. and lived in Oran, Scott Co, MO in 1900, Holcolm, Dunklin Co, MO in 1920 and back to Oran in 1930; could not find them in 1910 census. I am interested in any additional information about John and his family and descendants.
