Wayne,
I saw your note on genforum.genealogy.com and found the information provided by my ancestors very interesting. I am the son of William Elijah Tryon, who's father is Theodore Willard Tryon and who's father is William Elijah Tryon.
I was wondering if you have more specific information on each of the people that you mentioned in your posting. Anything you have would be useful. I have only been at this a short time but have found quite a bit of information considering that I am following 4 lines (mine and my wife). It is really difficult when two of the names are Smith and Cross. Any Tryon information that I find, I will share with you.
