Seeking ancestry & descendants of Sarah TRYON:

Seeking better info on Sarah TRYON who was supposedly b 1675 in Wethersfield, CT (another source says 1672), the daughter of William Tryon & “Saint (Robinson) Latimer Tryon.”

Sarah supposedly m John GILLETTE or Gillett or GILLITT etc on April 7, 1697 (another source wrote it 1607, the 0 probably being a typo).

John was supposedly b in 1672 (another source writes 1674) at Wethersfield in 1672. He “owned the Covenant at Wethersfield” July 20, 1712.

John & Sarah supposedly removed to Newtown, Fairfield, CT. about 1716.

John died supposedly at Newtown, Fairfield, CT. 1770 (another source says Dec 6, 1769).

Sarah supposedly died May 15, 1758 also at Newtown.

Sarah supposedly had a brother David and other unknown siblings.

Sarah & John Gillette supposedly had at least the following 8 children:

1. Abel, b abt 1697, at Weth, married Sarah Kimberly.

2. Dr. William born supposedly March 15, 1699/1700 at Wethersfield and bapt Mar 7th. He supposedly moved as an adult to Milford, CT, and married Elizabeth Welch of Milford, dau of Thomas Welch & Elizabeth Peck. William was supposedly still living in 1780.

3. John, b 1702 at Weth, married Mary Williams at Weth, dau of Capt Jacob Williams.
4. Hannah. b 1704-5, at Weth, married at Newtown Samuel Sanford.
5. Sarah, b 1707-8 at Weth, married Joseph Summers.
6. Samuel, b 1710, at Weth, married Eunice Clark.

As stated, the family supposedly moved from Wethersfield to Newtown about 1716.

7. Mary, b 1714 Married 1st at Newtown John Ferris (possibly had 4 ch), married 2nd after 1761 Lieut Samuel Griffin becoming his 2nd wife.
8. Hope, b Newtown 1717 married 1st Mr. Graves, 2nd Mr Burnes.

Any information on any aspect of these claims is welcomed.

I am particularly interested in the life of Sarah TRYON & John GILLETTE at Wethersfield around 1699 and anything shedding more light on the life of their 2nd child, William.
