Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

To Carlos McCalmont and Charles Haughee: My wife's maternal great-great-grandparents were James Y. McAdams (b.1826 KY, d.after 1910 KANS) and MargaretTryon (b1833 IN,d1899 MO). We believe she was daughter of Joel Tryon (b.1810/15,d.1835/40) and Rachel Ringo.Rachel md 2nd David Pickett 1843 and 3rd Robert Hale. Do either of you know the birth and death dates of Joel and of his parents, Jeremiah (b.1774 CT) and Mary Ann Hildebrand?
