Martin Vaughan worked for George W Truett

My great-uncle Martin W. Vaughan (nicknamed Mark by the family) was born in Bowman, GA in 1854. Family lore has it that he went to work for the "famous evangelist" George Washington Truett, of First Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. Martin was a musician who played the piano and violin and may have written music as well.

We don't know exactly when Martin moved to Texas. The family has no further information on what happened to him. Any help anyone could supply on history or descendants would be greatly appreciated!
