Since posting my query I have learned that there were subsequent court proceedings about this estate that went on until at least 1823, maybe longer. But I did not learn what I am looking for and that is how his estate was split up between the children by his wife, Mary, and the children by Susannah Jones. I am still seeking that information.
Truelove did not marry Susannah Jones. Her husband was Adam Jones, a Rev. soldier, who died sometime before 1790. He is not in the Franklin County, NC census for that year.
