Truby, Westfall, Cottrell

I have been working on my Ohio Cottrell line and have some new information. Thomas Cottrell came to Greene Co and was a Sargeant in Sutton's Ohio Regiment in the War of 1812 along with James Westfall and John and Jacob Truby of Harrison Co Va. Hyram Cottrel was also in the same regiment along with an Alexander and John Reeves and settled in Greene co at the same time. Hyram married Elizabeth Reeves. James Westfall and the Truby family can be found at Tygart's Valley and Westfall's Fort. James Westfall is the son of George Westfall and Elizabeth Reeves and George was the son of Jacob Westfall of Westfall's Fort. Thomas Cottrell, James Westfall and his brother in law John Truby can be found in the Bourbon Co Tax Lists of the 1790's. Evidently they migrated from Va to Bourbon Co Ky and then Greene Co Ohio. Any information on making the bridge back to Ky on the Cottrell line is definitely appreciated.
