Dear Robert:
I, too am descended from Jean Jacques and Elizabeth Leroux through their son Christophe who married Marie Borne. Christophe and Marie had a son Eugene born 1831. Eugene married Marie Caesaire Berthelot and had a daughter Mary Elmire Trosclair. This is my great-grandmother.Do our lines divert at Christophe? I think there was a big yellowfever epidemic in Sept. 1832 in this area and I am assuming Christophe died of it because he died that month. Are you in Louisiana? Thank you for any info you can give. Terri
