Hi. My name is Peter Troxler. Am from the Virginia Troxler's (but have transplanted to New York. My Grandmother, Nora Troxler, has this book on the Troxler family Tree and it says that were are the descendants of Vitalis Drochsler(sp?) from Berne, Switzerland. He apparently arrived in the US, as almost everyone has said, through Louisiana and migrated with his family nothward. From there, after a couple of generations (I'm improvising here because I don't have the book), Peter Troxler, a colonel for the confederacy, established his family in the Western Virginia. Any of this fit in to the research you have derived?

Pete Troxler
