I think Dan Tickle was John Henry and Elizabeth's son. He was born before they were married. That is why his last name was his mothers last name.In those days I don't think adoption was all that popular or necessary.

I do not know of any reunions for the Troxler
clan. For the most part, all the older ones
have died out. All that is left is the younger generations like you and me.

It would be a great idea to try to get all the younger ones together at a reunion.
Maybe we should work on that in the future.
