According to the book The Family Troxler of North Carolina,By Rockie D. Troxler.

Johan George was born in 1698 was first married to Magdelaine Hausserman. They had 2 childen, Jean Nicholas born in 1734 & Anne- Marie . After Magdelaine's death in 1735, he remarried Marie Agnes Loy in 1738.They had 9 children. Barney was the 6th child of record born in 1746.Barney left Lousianna when he was 17 yrs. old to settle in North Carolina.He settled in an already established German community.
