My grandmother's wedding register info listed a Calvin Singleton as her father, and a Malinda or Marinda? kraut, fraut, kaut, or possibly Trout as her mother (writing was illegible). The online marriage index shows Calvin Singleton having married a Nancy M. Troutt in Jefferson County, Illinois 05/13/1876. Does anyone have ANY information on Nancy and Calvin? I know grandma (Venie Singleton) said she was an orphan and was raised by Calvin's brother, Essick or Essex Francis Singleton, and his wife. Thanks
