I have actually had time to work on this line and lo' and behold. After searching through the new Missouri State Archives death database, have found that James M. Troutman was definitely married at least twice. First to Matilda Baker of Kentucky, and then second to Sarah Edwards, also of Kentucky. The death certificates of two of his children, George A. Troutman and James Harley Troutman list each of their mothers. George's mother was listed Sarah Edwards and James' mother was listed as Matilda Baker. Abundance to you all!!
