Hi Kelly,
Your Leonard Emanuel “Leo” TROUT was born 23 Aug 1900; son of Emanuel TROUT b. Aug 1865 and Esther “Sallie” HEINSFURTER b. Jul 1874; son of Louis TROUT b. 1822 in Prussia and Emily unknown b. 1828 in Bavaria.
Louis was a tailor by trade, and Emanuel worked as a salesman. At the time of his WW-I draft registration, Leo was living in Bethesda, MD and was working for the Washington Railway (street car line).
Your Leo also had an older brother named Jerome b. Feb. 1899.
