Was John, by chance, a son of Samuel? His wife was Louisa. This was a second marriage for him, I believe. She later moved to Dekalb and Fulton Counties.I believe Samuel fought in the War of 1812.A James B. and Benjamin F. Walker swore to her marriage to Samuel.
I am actually looking for the parents or siblings of Benjamin F. Walker, born in NC in 1808.He lived and married in Oglethorpe in the 1830's and 40's.He then moved to Harris County, next to Troup. He and Martha are buried in Harris at Sardis Church Cemetery. They did name a son John, Jr.
