Illinois Historical Collections Virginia Series Vol II: Francois Trottier was very prominent after the coming of Clark, was made Commandant of the Village and was elected Justice both at Cahokia Court and in 1779 of that of the District of Cahokia.

Conquest of the Country Northwest of the River Ohio, 1778-1783 by the English.

Name on plaque, of St. Clair County Revolutionary Patriots.
