A very important limb of my family history is in or around Trois Rivieres, Quebec. I have extremely strong Canadian French and Abenaki roots.

A family name that I recall aside from Trottier is Berthaume [sp?]. Some first names tied to my Trottier ancestry that I recall are Jean-Baptist, Onesim [sp?], Aime J., Robert, Gary Paul, Hermenechilde [sp?].

I believe it was my Great Grandmother who was Abenaki Indian.

Soon, I may have more information to provide in order to narrow down my search...
