You'll see that's not Louise Hamelin who married Louis Trottier but
Marie-Madeleine (in my database : Marie-Louise-Madeleine)

Marie-Louise was married to François Rivard dit Loranger.

The possibility #1 seems to be right.

Unfortunately this web site doesn't go farther and we can't make a direct link between the possibily #1 and Ignace Trottier but just to keep it as possible...
