Obviously all the best people have TROAKEs in their ancestry! <grin>

Where do your TROAKEs hail from? I'm intrigued by the mention of a Martin TROAKE, as "my" Robert TROAKE and Hannah BOND had a son, Martin TROAKE, bap 25 May 1767, Clayhidon, Devon. He married Mary BRADDICK in 1767 at Clayhidon. I wonder if the first name, Martin, may have been a family thing, and if our TROAKEs could be related?
