John Jefferson Tritt-Older Sister?

I may have a clue to the "older sister" of John Jefferson Tritt. On the 1860 census for Jackson Co., NC is an A W Tritt & wife and a 1 year old girl "E I Tritt". I believe the AW Tritt could be A Wilson Tritt (Dewault's brother)(who I have lost track of since 1863). I followed the 1 year old to 1870 where she is listed as "Ellen Tritt" age 10 living in Webster, Jackson Co., NC with a "Bryan" family. I have no idea who they are. In the 1880 census this girl is listed in the family in Atlanta, GA - daughter of "Nancy Trett" "widow". Also in this family is "Mary Trett" and "William Trett". The ages all match Nancy & Mary Ann and Will. Could this "Ellen" be the older sister of John Jefferson Tritt?
P.S. This may be old news but I have found a "list of Destitute & Disabled Soldiers & widows who are unable to git bread & reside in Union County, GA"-1867-1872. On this list is a Nancy Tritt with (4) children. The state of Georgia gave them 50 cents!
