Hello. I'm having a difficult time finding information about my great-grandfather and his parents (mother Anna Marie Belz), mainly because he gave birth to two sons, only one of whom bore two girls. This branch of my family seems closed. My great-grandfather: Francis Joseph Tritsch. I know that he was born 1874, educated at the Sorbonne, and then his father sent him to Spain to be taught by academy of Jesuits - at some point met his wife Anna St Martin (from Basque country). They moved to the U.S. in 1900 (New Jersey), and he changed his name to Trich to appear less German. This is all that I know. I hope that there is a distance connection to someone else somewhere along the way. Thank you.
