Was the son of Christian Trites and Sarah Boyd Lewis Trites, b. 22 Dec 1833? If so, he was the second husband of my husband's great grandmother, Sophia Catherine Kierstead, b. 4 Dec 1836. The Kiersteads go back to Hans Kiersteeden, 1612-1666, who arrived in New Amsterdam in 1638. Joan Hays, elmerstune@webtv.net
